Thompson Electrical Contracting was founded by Donald and Amanda Thompson in March 2013. Donald and Amanda are both born and raised in Central Florida, and currently run the company from the main office location in Avon Park, FL.
Donald Thompson is a fourth generation Floridian, who grew up in Hardee County. Upon graduating from Hardee County High School, Donald joined the United States Navy. While in the Navy, Donald was an Electrician and acquired much knowledge while serving for our country.
As a Veteran, Donald began to pursue Residential and Commercial electrical experience in Florida which has continued to this day. With 25 years experience, Donald is now a state certified electrical contractor and the license holder for Thompson Electrical Contracting.
Amanda Thompson is a University of Florida graduate with a degree in business, specializing in marketing. She enjoys using her knowledge to support their company.

Thompson Electrical specializes in new construction projects such as, but not limited to, site lighting, underground utilities, specialty lighting, commercial new construction, residential new construction, and much more.
